Although it is still very early in the 2025 snow season visitor numbers to both Mt Buller and Mt Stirling are looking good.
Up until the end of the third week of the season (22 June) Mt Buller’s visitor numbers has risen by some 42 per cent while Mt Stirling has had a mammoth 124 percent increase.
Across all Victorian Alpine resorts visitor numbers totalled 19,601 – pointing out that Buller is still the most popular destination.
Figures compared to last year (2024) snow season shows that at the same comparison time at the near end of June Buller had received higher numbers sitting at 17,457 whil Stirling had lower number of 110.
In the year to date stats (this includes overnight stayers) Buller has had some 16,471 visitors while Stirling has had 253.
