Tumbarumba - Khancoban - Corryong

The picturesque towns of Tumbarumba and Khancoban in the Snowy Valleys area are both unique in their own right.

Tumbarumba offers country charm and the classic main street with wide footpaths and hosts great touring options and attractions to explore all situated virtually at the towns doorstep. The Tumbarumba to Rosewood Rail Trail is a great attraction.

The Tumbarumba Visitor Centre can help you with personlised maps and information, the Tumbarumba Bakery has all your daily food covered and stay and dine for dinner at the Tumbarumba Motel and Elms Restaurant. Be sure to visit Courabyra Wines for lunch overlooking the magnificent vineyard.

Khancoban has a wealth of scenic drives and attractions from the centre of this quaint town and is the southern gateway into Kosciuszko National Park.

The NPWS Visitor Centre has information and passes for the national park, the caravan park is ideally situated on the lake and the Khancoban Alpine Inn an ideal lunch and dinner venue with accommodation.

The small Khancoban town centre has undertaken an overhaul in the past 12 months, so stop by to see the superb wall mural, new cafe, chemist and post office with fuel and food available at the roadhouse.
