Take to the Air Zone for fun

THE Mt Buller Air Zone is a must do for active kids this school holidays.

If a day on the slopes isn’t enough of an energy burn for your crew they’ll love an hour of bouncing, climbing the walls, flipping and flying into the giant air bag.

Air Zone is all about fun and it’s a hive of high-energy acrobatics as kids of all ages, and often some elite winter sports athletes, experience the sheer joy and adrenaline that comes with every session.

The first thing you hear as you arrive in Air Zone is laughter and shrieks of delight that come from the crew bouncing on huge trampolines, leaping off the ‘diving board’ and scrambling around the climbing wall to ring the bell at the end. Swing from ladders, climb the indoor wall and work on your flips and spins – it’s all part of a good session here.

In response to popular demand, Air Zone is now open into the evenings. “So many families and guests love to extend the day with a session after a day on the slopes and it’s especially popular as an early evening activity for kids,” explained Sharon Rainsbury, Head of Visitor Experience for the resort.

“The evening sessions in the school holidays will be popular so it’s a good idea to book in early.”

The sessions are supervised giving parents an opportunity to enjoy some après in the village or squeeze in a run to the grocer before dinner.

Buller Air Zone is open daily during July and August. Sessions run from 1pm until 8pm with the final session at 7pm. Bookings are recommended for this popular activity.
