Last week Mt Buller hosted the Snowsports Industries of Australia "On Snow Tests" and "First Look”.
It is an annual event that brings together the Australian snow retail industry and wholesalers/importers.
Tents were set up at the top of Bourke Street for Tuesday and Wednesday, 26-27 August where retailers had the opportunity to test ride all the latest skis and boards.
More than 20 wholesalers/importers were represented.
And more than 50 retailers attended bringing staff from as far Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Jindabyne.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity for staff to learn more about the products they are selling, and even try some brands they don’t,” said Rob Aivatoglou of George’s ski Hire.
“In total, more than 180 people registered.”
Speeches and drinks were held in the Dump Inn at the Ski Club of Victoria.
