New Mental Health Support comes to Mt Buller

RU OK? Snow, sun, and smiling faces – Mt Buller is a fantastic place to visit and work.

Not everyone is ok all the time though.

When that’s the case, where do you turn?

Thankfully, a new mental health service and neurotherapy practice is available on the mountain this winter.

The Togetherness Project understand the importance of accessible, high-quality mental health support for the Buller community.

Mental health can impact anyone at any time, from workers to high-performance athletes to recreational riders.

While the impact on individuals - and those around them - can range from mild to severe, all deserve confidential attention, care and support.

Conveniently situated in a discrete location near the Village Square, The Togetherness Project integrates the underlying philosophies of trauma-informed and neuro-affirming

care with evidence-based interventions, family therapy, and neurotherapy for individuals and families dealing with mental health disorders and challenges. The

Togetherness Project specialises in empowering families and carers in supporting a loved one through eating disorders, ADHD, Autism and mental health difficulties,

including through neurotherapy treatment.

Neurofeedback trains the brain to maintain peak focus, regulate emotions and achieve effortless flow states, enhancing mental agility, resilience, and precision.

Neuromodulation, including tDCS, enhances neuroplasticity, accelerating learning and strengthening critical performance.

These techniques are used at elite levels, including by Olympic athletes and military special forces who require unwavering concentration, rapid decision-making and a

high tolerance for stress.

Treatment is effective across a wide range of conditions, including for anxiety, depression, ADHD symptoms, sleep difficulties, and the effects of traumatic brain injury.

If your immediate needs cannot be met, you can be referred to a network of providers further afield, including for telehealth services.
