By BINKY KFOURI – Vic President Mt Buller Ratepayers Association
August 16 saw the Mount Buller Ratepayers Association (MBRA), get together with ARV, hosting their annual event and celebrating club lodges at Mount Buller.
As always, it was a great opportunity for members of the community to come together and acknowledge the great contribution club lodges have made to the mountain.
Alan Arthur (GM ARV) joined Ian McCall (MBRA President) in presenting certificates to the clubs which this season reached a milestone on the mountain:
• Australian Women’s Ski Club - 70 years (retrospective from 2019);
• Black Tulip Ski Club - 70 years;
• Chetwynd - 70 years;
• Elk Ski Lodge - 70 years;
• Alkira Ski Club - 60 years;
• Nutcracker Ski Lodge- 60 years;

• Snowdown Ski Lodge- 60 years;
• Terama Ski Club - 60 years;

It was particularly special to have Lee Champman from Nutcracker Ski Club there to receive their 60-year certificate.
