A message from BSL CEO Noel Landry

WELCOME to Winter 2025, I’ve got a good feeling about this one, we certainly deserve a cracker after the run of COVID and some tricky seasonal conditions in recent years.

We live in the hands of the snow-gods and we can only control what is in our control, so we have worked hard over summer to give ourselves the best chance possible for a positive start and a distant finish.

From lift maintenance to vegetation management and snowmaking improvements, our team have done a mountain of work in the ski area and we’re ready to roll. The snow factories have been pumping out steadily throughout May to guarantee skiing, snowboarding and snowplay for our guests from the long weekend.

As Alan (resort manger) and the team at resort management have shared, the Boggy Creek Reservoir repair was done during summer, and going into winter we have more water for snowmaking use than we have ever had.

This year will be another one of celebrating this great community at Mt Buller as we mark 75 years of the Ski Patrol and 40 years of Team Buller.

It’s a reminder of the decades of time shared on these slopes and we’ll make more memories this season as we celebrate the past and look ahead to the future.

I’m really looking forward myself to some laps on the fresh corduroy with friends and family.

If I’m on the lift beside you in my yellow jacket or incognito on my days off, please say hello, and feel free to share any feedback on what you love about Mt Buller or what we could do to make your experience better.

Happy turns to you in 2025 - Noel
