Music Legends Visit Lake Crackenback

IT will be a music event like no other when legends Jimmy Barnes, Richard Clapton plus Mahalia Barnes and The Soul Mates perform the Stranded in the Snowys concerts at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa next February.

This exclusive and intimate event is based on the music in paradise concept of accommodation in stunning destinations with exceptional artists performing live intimate concerts.

All three acts will play their own exclusive headline gigs on three separate evenings. Numbers are strictly limited to 500 guests.

Jimmy Barnes and Richard Clapton need no introduction, and this will be Jimmy’s only music in paradise performance in 2024.

Music in paradise fuses a love of nature and music in one unique offering. The stunning Lake Crackenback Resort will be your base in a variety of accommodation packages that include the concerts.

The resort is renowned as the perfect holiday base with spacious grounds, their own activities plus bordering on the edge of Kosciuszko National Park. They offer a range of boutique accommodation, restaurant options serving the finest local produce and a luxurious getaway vibe.

By day explore the Snowy Mountains headline act of Australia’s premier alpine playground, climb Australia’s highest mountain, Mount Kosciuszko and discover a plethora of exciting sights. Then by night revel in the intimacy of a small crowd watching some of the superstars of the Australian music industry.

Event curator Ben Horvath said, “We are super excited to make Stranded In The Snowys an annual event, just like our successful Stranded In The Whitsundays events that have been running for 4 years now.”

Previous event locations and artists include the Maldives, Daydream Island and Fiji, with top artists Jimmy Barnes, Delta Goodrem, Daryl Braithwaite to name a few.

This will be one summer musical experience not to be missed. The numbers are capped to ensure the atmosphere and vibe quite literally resembles a private party where you meet, dance and party with like-minded fans. Guests will be up close and personal with the musicians in exclusive surroundings.
