A NEW Equipment Valet Service has landed at Falls Creek, just in time for the July school holidays.
It aims to offer a smoother start to the season for families and groups tackling one of the busiest times of year on the mountain.
New to the 2025 snow season, the service offers overnight storage and drying of rental gear at the Falls Creek Sports Village Bowl store.
Your equipment will be safely stored and ready for you the next morning.
No more hauling it back to your lodge.
No squeezing into wet boots in the hallway.
The service is free for all Falls Creek Sports rental customers and is part of a broader effort to streamline the guest experience during peak periods.
It’s particularly useful for families staying in the village, as it allows them to stroll back from après or dinner without a ski in sight.
There’s also a stress-relieving addition for parents with young children.
If your three to six year-old is enrolled in the Snowclub Program and you’ve hired their equipment from Falls Creek Sports, the team will transport their skis directly to the Snowclub building at Cloud 9.
Simply complete their fitting by 5:30pm the day before, take home the boots and helmet, and the skis will be waiting at Snowclub in the morning.
It’s just one less thing to juggle on the ride up Halley’s Comet.
While the traditional rental process remains unchanged, these small but thoughtful touches are already helping to smooth out the edges of busy school holiday visits.
For anyone who’s spent a snowy evening shuffling through the village with a pair of skis on one shoulder and a cranky child in tow, it’s a shift that’s likely to be welcomed by many visitors to Falls Creek.
