MARIA Baker was frustrated with ill–fitting ski pants and after multiple torn crotches, never quite bending down fully out of fear of ripping the backside of her ski pants she decided to do something for women.
She remembers the day in the snow season of 2018 she was wearing her brand new snow pants – snug fit, bright white, and they made her ass look great.
"So there I was, sitting on the chairlift with my friends on this non–windy day and I felt... cold. I realised the crotch had given out.
"The girls with me quickly chimed in to how they too had experienced this, and the conversation quickly became about how frustrating it was to find good fitting snow pants," Maria recalled.
Size range, length, stretch, adjustability, room for bums and hips, well–fitting waists.
"Almost every time we hit the snow, there would be something about our pants that prevented us from moving freely, that made us feel uncomfortable and insecure on the snow.
"It was about how our belts hurt; about how we kept getting snow down our backside because the waists gaped; it was how we were too scared to bend over to adjust our boots out of fear that the crotch or backside of our pants would rip, or we just physically couldn't."
In 2020 the idea of creating ski pants specially for women began the journey to become reality.
That year Maria held a Kickstarter to fund Nobody's Princess – and got there.
The result was successfully creating ski and snowboard pants from sizes 8–22 that are available in short and tall lengths. They are made for women no matter if you pear, hourglass, apple or other body shape.
"I have worked to design what I believe are the best fitting snow pants for women, ever," Maria said.
"Working with an experienced snow apparel designer, I have identified the pain points that women experience, and made snow pants everything they need to be.
"Now I couldn't be prouder of how well they fit, and more importantly, how comfortable they are," Maria said.
Nobody's Princess Pants are great fitting snow pants made by women, for women – snow pants that fit your bum, tummy and thighs.
