BOMA restaurant is gearing up for Valentine's Day and is planning on delivering a memorable dining experience for all.

The team behind the restaurant are gearing up after a bumper turn out last year, with the hopes that many will return for the six course feast.

Mark Leslie, who created the menu, said last year BOMA was fully booked and he hopes it is replicated this year.

"Traditionally the shire at this time of year is very quiet," he said.

Mr Leslie explained the menu is South American and French inspired, adding the traditional wood–fired cooking processes BOMA is known for.

He took advantage in his background with Caribbean, Mexican and Peruvian food as well as his classical training in French food in London and Paris.

"The menu is a mixture of cuisines that I like," Mr Leslie said.

On top of that, there will be flirty and fun cocktails for the night, along with BOMA's extensive selection of wines, beers and mocktails utilising some of the best artisanal agave in the state.

BOMA has a mission to avoid overly processed foods, sourcing ingredients fresh from around Victoria, taking in the best produce fresh from where it is grown.

The restaurant, while being fairly new, is a hit among the community, allowing world class cuisines to be experienced by all in a setting close to home.

The restaurant also supplies Mansfield IGA with some of its popular products, allowing locals to have a small taste of what is on offer.

Mr Leslie hopes that locals will come and experience the quality food and dining experience on offer and return regularly.

"It's nice to see the community support," he said.

Mr Leslie and his wife Renee want the night to be about enjoying good food with loved ones – be it a special someone, a group of friends or even a double date.
