LET'S all sing a Christmas carol or two tomorrow night at the Mansfield community celebrations.
Yep, it's Christmas time already and everyone should be thinking about celebrating this festive season with the annual sing–along.
Mansfield is all geared up to celebrate with a massive Christmas Carols, High Street festive get together tomorrow night, Thursday, December 15 from 5pm to 9pm.
High Street will be closed from the roundabout to Collopy Street from around 6.30pm allowing safety measures to be in place for children.
Along the median strip there will be music (opposite Mark's IGA) provided by the MAD Orchestra and featuring the Bowell family singers.
For the kids there will be jumping castles, craft activities, face painting and all the way from Mt Buller Wozza and the Animals of the Magic Mountains will perform.
There will be no regular food and drinks stalls this year so grab some hot food from the local outlets or BYO picnic baskets.
However, there will be some stalls like CWA cakes, Jillicious Preserves, Maindample Fudge, Swiftcrest Distillery and Bendigo Bank will have a kids colouring setup alongside our kids craft area.
Prizes are up for grabs for those families that take along their own picnic settings (rugs and or portable tables), decorate them and then be judged for best.
And dressing up for the occasion may also see you gain a prize.
Santa will have his own little area to meet and greet the children and for parents to take photos of their kids from 5pm to 6pm and then again from 7pm.
Look for the fenced off an area with a white pickett fence and decorating which will be for Santa Photos.
Santa is expected to arrive at the festival area along with his elf helper by special car and driver at around 5pm.
There will be no town tour for Santa this year as has happened through COVID times.
