Colorado Telluride

In the scenic San Juan Mountains there’s an idyllic town that fulfils every snow holiday wish. Telluride is surrounded by towering peaks of incredible landscape, uncrowded slopes and supreme snow. The area has two individual sections, Telluride and Mountain Village, being linked by a fee gondola. Telluride is a timeless 19th century mining town with relaxing watering holes, restaurants and shops. Mountain Village has an energetic vibe with ski-in ski-out lodgings as well as fabulous places to eat and drink.

The ski area is perfectly formed having a balanced mix of terrain for everyone. The layout means the novice, intermediate and advanced sections are safely zoned but within easy access to one another. This makes it a cinch for mixed abilities and families to catch up for hot chocolate and then get back to their chosen section of the mountain. Bald Mountain is great for the rookies with green trails through the forest and the Ute terrain park. Intermediates have a plethora of choice and an absolute favourite run is “See Forever” which is almost a peak to peak descent. Searching for the adrenaline hit? Ride the steep mogul pitches from the top of the Plunge chairlift or take on the Gold Hill Chutes and ravines off Palmyra Peak. Telluride is the place that surpasses all expectations.
