Colorado Keystone

Keystone is a modern resort in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains offering three peaks of stellar riding terrain. It gets a big tick for its family friendly facilities like the Kidtopia program plus the world’s largest snow fort. The three mountains of Dercum, North Peak and The Outback give riders of all abilities 3000 acres to carve, cruise and shred. Beginners can start in the Discovery Learning Area or the Ranger Learning Area while intermediates will have a blast on Dercum’s tree lined slopes with loads of varied trails.

The perfectly groomed long blue and green trails zig and zag through the trees on the face of the mountain where the terrain park is also located. While Keystone definitely has rookies and capable riders covered, the experts will have plenty to cheer about. The backside of the mountain has the steeps and black-diamond descents. Thrill seekers should also explore the addictive glade known as “The Windows”. North Peak is linked to Dercum by gondola and offers steep fall-line back diamond trails that are littered with challenging moguls.

Keystone is also the home to one of the biggest night skiing domains in the country. If there’s energy left in the tank, strap on the skates for some freestyling in North America’s largest outdoor skating rink.

Everything for the ultimate winter holiday can be found at Keystone resort.
