THE Bright Art Gallery Summer Exhibition 'Celebrate the Alpine Artists' opened on Saturday, November 26 and features works by the artist members of the gallery.
The large exhibition takes over the entire gallery and includes paintings, photographs, sculptural works, mosaics, glass art, ceramics, jewellery, fabric art, woodwork and more.
The participating artists are from all over the North East of Victoria with members of the Bright Art Gallery.
Among regular exhibitors with their beautiful artworks are Stephen McCall, Coral Ruffin, Kevin Boucher, Frances Phelan, Glenys Baxter, Beatrice Anderson, Annemarie Wiegerinck, Barry Willcox, Shirley Hall, Judy Balfour and Jennifer Paull.
The Bright Art Gallery is entirely run and staffed by volunteers.
Many visitors comment on the quality of the exhibitions and the beautiful gallery itself, with three large gallery spaces as well as a well–stocked gallery shop.
You could easily lose an hour or so taking in all the exhibits and it is perfect venue for Christmas shopping and beyond, especially for those looking for a unique handmade gift.
The Summer Exhibition runs until January 30 and is open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 4pm.
The gallery will be closed from December 20, 2022 until January 4, 2023.
